Checklist for applying to Master of Project Management / Master of Project Management (Professional) / Master of Project Innovation at Bond University
Bond University lists separate codes, credit loads, durations, English rules and 2026–2027 international tuition for its Master of Project Management and Master of Project Management (Professional).
Bond University lists two project management master’s degrees with separate program codes, credit totals, durations and international tuition. The program notes also point one group of applicants to Master of Project Innovation. Start with the degree code. Then compare the credit load. Read the entry rule and English score next. Compare tuition by start year. Match the intake date.
Check the degree code first
The Master of Project Management is SD-93019, with CRICOS code 078813G.
The Master of Project Management (Professional) is SD-93010, with CRICOS code 078182M.
Use both the program code and the CRICOS code when you compare the two. They keep the standard and professional routes apart. A check built only on the shared words “Master of Project Management” can pull up the wrong credit load and fee. Each code is listed with its degree.
Check credit points and duration
For the standard degree, the total is 120 credit points. Bond splits that into 90 compulsory credit points and 30 elective credit points. The listed duration is 1 year 4 months, or four semesters.
For the professional degree, the total is 165 credit points. That total contains 135 compulsory credit points and 30 elective credit points. The listed duration is 92 weeks.
Both degrees include 30 elective credit points. The main difference in the credit structure sits in the compulsory load: 90 credit points in the standard degree and 135 in the professional degree. That difference also shows up in the duration each degree lists.
Check the entry and English rules
Both degrees require successful completion of a recognised bachelor degree, or an equivalent qualification, in any field.
There is one named exclusion. The notes for both degrees say the program is not available to graduates of Bond’s Bachelor of Project Management. For that group, Bond names Master of Project Innovation as an alternative. The exclusion is specific to those graduates. It is not written as a general bar on bachelor degrees in project management from other institutions.
English scores sit alongside the degree requirement. Both degrees list IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no sub-score below 6.0. Both also list PTE Academic 58 overall with no communicative score below 50.
Compare international tuition by start year
International tuition for the standard degree is AUD 16,661 per semester in 2026 and AUD 66,645 for the program. For 2027, it is AUD 17,419 per semester and AUD 69,675 for the program.
The professional degree lists a program total of AUD 73,275 for 2026 and AUD 76,605 for 2027.
The professional total is higher than the standard total in both listed years. Bond’s fee note says tuition is indicative and changes with the subjects chosen and the year of commencement. The rate for the start year applies. That makes the year of entry part of the fee check, not a separate question.
Match the intake date
Both degrees list four on-campus intakes at the Gold Coast Campus: September 2026, January 2027, May 2027 and September 2027. The dates are the same across the two degrees.
The fee note ties tuition to the commencement year. A September 2026 start sits in the 2026 rate. A January, May or September 2027 start sits in the 2027 rate.
Where Master of Project Innovation fits
Master of Project Innovation appears in the entry notes as the alternative for graduates of Bond’s Bachelor of Project Management. The practical check is the applicant’s bachelor degree. If it is Bond’s Bachelor of Project Management, the two project management master’s degrees are ruled out by the program notes. Master of Project Innovation is the named alternative. For other applicants, the entry statement for the two project management degrees remains a recognised bachelor degree in any field.
For the two project management degrees, the checks cover code, credit points, duration, entry, English, international tuition and intake. Official tuition and intake details for the year of commencement govern the application.
