Meeting the CSU team: how to separate course questions from application support

Use CSU’s November information sessions to direct academic questions to the university team and keep application preparation separate from admission decisions.

A useful question for the CSU team is specific: “How would my existing study relate to this course?” A useful preparation task is different: recording that study clearly so the answer refers to the right background. Keeping those jobs separate can make Your Future in Care 2026 more productive.

Charles Sturt University’s free information sessions cover nursing, health and social work. Melbourne is on 4 November 2026 at 222 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000; Sydney is on 5 November 2026 at 77 Berry Street, North Sydney NSW 2060. Each city’s timetable begins with Bachelor of Nursing at 4:30 pm–5:00 pm and ends with Master of Social Work at 6:00 pm–6:30 pm.

Ask about the course before planning an application

The university reminder identifies Master of Nursing, Master of Health Professional Practice and Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying). Questions about academic fit, course availability at a particular campus and entry requirements belong with the university’s course information. Do not let an application checklist stand in for those answers.

You can prepare your own record of qualifications, questions and intended study direction, or use application support to help organise it. Such organisation should preserve what the university actually says. It cannot turn a general explanation into an admission decision or a promise of professional registration.

Match your question to the presentation

The official event timetable starts with Bachelor of Nursing at 4:30 pm in each city. Master of Nursing follows at 5:00 pm in Melbourne but 5:30 pm in Sydney. Master of Health is at 5:30 pm in Melbourne and 5:00 pm in Sydney; Master of Social Work begins at 6:00 pm in both.

The health and social work entries are short timetable labels. Ask about the full programme you mean, rather than assuming a label establishes its formal title or campus availability. The fact that an event is held at a campus does not show that all the discussed courses run there.

Use the official registration form for the event and the CSU campus website for campus identity. Attendance is an opportunity to gather information; it does not establish admission, visa, professional registration or employment outcomes.
